Looks suspicious to me, poor eagle detail and the hinge is not what we normally see on FLLs. Maybe its the lighting, can you try some more pics and some angled closeups of the hinge and catch?

Yes, I know that badge but the hinge looks a little different to me. Might be nothing, but I would like to see some better pics before saying it is 100% good.
I like other features of it like the rivets and the wear to the finish, just want to be sure since the fakes are really good, in particular fakes of FLL Heer Paras which we know Staegemeir is actively working on right now.

I do not know everything, but this is not what I would like to see in Linden badge. For comparison my badge / I know the pin has been shortened/.

A little better, he has a chance at early Army badge. may be accepted as the earliest set-up variant on these awards. However, en face photos would be better

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the better pics and nice closeups, I like it much more now. I am always amazed at what good pics will do for a badge, especially important is the lighting and how it makes gold finishes look.
For me this is an original and correct FLL Army Para badge.

Hi Tom,
That was my first opinion also. Rivets, catch, the exceeding solder around the rivet, the color and fading of finish - all look perfect. The only confusing is the eagle - the details are terrible weak...Comment
