    IAB silver maker?

    Hi everybody,

There are some more IABs without maker mark in my collection.
Maybe you can help out here with some information as well.
    Many thanks in advance, Peter

    This is a B.H. Mayer/Otto Schickle IAB.
    Compare with this example.

      Hi Peter

Looks to be a nice buntmetal IAB with only a few worn high points.

In the past these were classified as Mayer, but in recent times Schickle has been in the discussion, so sometimes you may also see described as Mayer/Schickle.

At least for those that like to put a "name to a face", they can.

      best regards
      Graeme

Nice original Schickle in nicely worn condition.

It is made from brass/tombak with a silver plated finish.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
