I have a Reproduction of a 1936 Olympic organization 1st class medal with long ribbon. I would like to know what it is worth? The swastica is taped over under the eagle.

Hello Wade,
That is a reproduction of the Olympic Service Decoration 1st class, not the 2nd class. The 2nd class was smaller and worn on the medal bar at the left breast. The 1st class is a neck decoration like yours. Since the piece is not original, it doesn't have much of a value at all. Actually no value at all unless someone wanted it as a space filler or representation until they obtain an original. Someone might pay $50.- $100. for just such a copy, but I don't know for sure.

Do you have a picture of the reverse? What makes you say this is a reproduction? Hard to tell from the photos.

The entire top suspension is wrong for this decoration, but it is not visible when the ribbon is mounted.. This is a nice old copy and should interest someone.

The back side has no rivets. That is why I said it is a reproduction.
