#5 Interestingly enough, he was awarded the Nahkampfspange in Bronze but was never awarded the EK1!

          Nice set Gary!

Guys, have you ever see the photos of latvian ss legioners with such cuff titles. I have information that legioners of 15th and 19th SS divisions was also decorated by Kurland cuff titles, but I have never see photos, soldbuchs and other confirmztions of that fact.

            Thanks Sergey!

Sadly I have not seen anything of the sort. I believe you are correct with your info but I have not seen a single photograph to support it.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Guys, here is typical fake <st1 ="">Kurland</st1> cuff title. One of many patterns, but maybe someone would like to save this picture for his own reference.

Here is a Kurland that came with a 1957 group of medals and badges. It is so well made I had to keep it. The embroidery is done by hand in heavy black cord over cardboard unterlagen.

Wlad got all of these from a Russian vet. if I remember corretly, he had sewn them on a blanket. Also a pile of generals Collartabs, shoulder boards etc, all well worn. I think the vet was a POW camp guard.

I had 4 text book woven titles from him, he would not trade the others. maybe camp made after capture? Or made in Kurland at the unit?
