Look on the inner ridge to the left of the 50 ... just inside of the polished edge.

It is of no consequence to me whether this is real or not ... I shalln't be getting into a pissing match over this. If you like it then great, personally I don't and I have given you my reasons why. Take it or leave it.

    Ian.

I believe all crosses posted here came from the same die and are all bad. Most LS decorations have the same type of pebbling, similar to the type found on most WB's. The LS for civilians is different though, e.g. it resembles the surface of the moon, something the fakers didn't realize.

      cheers

Friends! What kind of hole is in question and where is located, I still do not understand. Nevertheless, thank you all for the answer. I return this cross to the seller. Regards, Ed

              Thanks Ron,

Beginning to think the unmarked one I bought this last year is bad; I'll find pics of it and post later.

              Best,

              James

                    Ian,

Do you have a reverse shot of your 50 year? Would like to see that to compare to mine.

                    Thanks!

                    James

I will take better shots … the originals were lost to the Photoracket meltdown.

Another 50 year ribbon bar Ron

Looks like I’ll have a hard time finding a good 50 year award with stuff like this around.

Yep. I'm wondering if the one I have is bad as well.

So the marked Deschlers are the accepted so far, or am I misreading that?

                          Thanks guys,

                          Best,
