Hello guys,
A friend of mine picked up this medal. It came to him from a guy whose parents were Lithuanian and lived there during WW2. The guy found this while cleaning out his parents house. I have never seen anything like this before so hopefully someone can identify this medal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If real, this piece must be very scarce. I would be surprised if this turns out to be some kind of fake, considering where it came from. Looks like the maker on the reverse is S. Bercs. This maker is a known producer of Latvian medals so perhaps it is Latvian rather than Lithuanian. I have this posted in the International Militaria Forum but no one has responded so far.
Thank you & best regards,
Tom
