Italian-German Medal-zinc

Hello,
This is my first official WAF post. I hope to learn here a lot about my items and also, if possible, to contribute to the Forum.
I would like to get the opinion about this zinc Italian-German Medal for the African Campaign. It has a lot of characteristics of the Medal Type 6 (Unknown Fabricator).
But, is this the original Type 6 medal damaged by “zinc disease” or is this a poor reproduction based on the Type 6?
In case, it is reproduction, then it is not the recent one. I got this item in 2006.

Thank you very much for your opinion. I am glad to know that the medal looks good. I got it together with the group of award documents belonging to the Reg. Bauinspector. He was active in the Feldbauamt II d. Lw Afrika and then in the Oberbauleitung Theodorich (XII) in Italy.
