117 hugo lang ostmedaille...does it exist or not???

Did Hugo Lang make a OM mm117 or not?

No, it does not exist.

It was a maker mark 20 read upside down that ended up in a book as a Ostmedaille from Hugo Lang.

Hogo Lang never produced the Ostmeaille.

Yes and no, its gets complicated

What you have here is a ring with the standard 20 punze yes, but the Medaille is not an OM20 design. The ring has been replaced at some point.

The Medaille itself (from what I see from these pics) is an OM28.
I am 90% sure its a OM28, if you send straighter, bigger and unblurred pics I can tell for sure.

So you got and OM28 with a ring of a OM20.
