I would be interested in any help on the ribbons on the non-combatants Iron Cross bar please ?

The ribbons after the non-combatants Iron Cross are:
- Prussia, Merit Cross for War Aid
- Baden, War Merit Cross
- Hindenburg Cross
- Baden, Long Service Medal (or Cross)

Many thanks gentlemen, I saw the Baden ribbons in my Banderkatalog page 198 maybe the ribbons have faded slightly or the book doesn't quite reproduce the colours accurately.

Thanks Tony the medals have hit the self-imposed financial ceiling and I only add very few these days … the ribbon bars were an accident that has really taken off now.

Thank you, you're very kind.

I have the one of each in the drawer and others that are mint in packets and where I've become more focussed occasionally and collected several of one type (Luftschutz 2, Italo-German Africa, Westwall for example) There are 5 full frames of ribbon bars now Fortunately Jackie is VERY understanding.

Never mind, we're off to War & Peace Show next week for 2 days so hopefully I can get a couple more frames

Get more than that so you can add medals from the US, Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Romania, Japan, Slovakia ..... and on and on and on. That way you can see how far your wife's understanding will go!
