Hi Gents,

what do You think of these Ost medals? First one has features of Paul Meybauer (7). Has strange flaw on the eyelet tho. The second possibly Hugo Lang (117).

Hi PzKpfw,

The first one is a Maybauer design, your right.
But these pictures are very overexposed, very bad ones actually.
Just judging from these pics I would not want this one in my collection, it does not seem to be produced the right way.


The second one looks good but cannot be from Hugo Lang, HL did not produce the Ostmedaille.
Its a OM28 / Eugen Schmidhaussler.

Hi again,

Well, the first one is a OM28.
The second one is a OM7, I think its original but something has "happened" to it, maybe cleaned or polished. There are some chunks missing, maybe it had it a little rough earlier.
