Don't recall posting up a plaque so I've winged it as to which sub-forum to drop it in.

An unusual and heavy 5" thing-a-ma-bob which I assume was nailed to a board. Not sure what I'm seeing here. Soldiers laying communications wire of rolling out barb wire?

Hopefully someone has a clue what I just picked up.
