Spanish "Blue Division" medal bars, spanish and german awards....

As a Spanish collector I have always wanted to incorporate into my collection some pieces that belonged to members of this courageous division. I have few pieces, but I would like to show them.

This ordensspanges are scarces, I think that it´s interesting to medal bar collectors.

The Blue Division (Spanish: División Azul, German: Blaue Division), officially designated as "División Española de Voluntarios" by the Spanish Army and 250. Infanterie-Division in the German Army was a unit of Spanish volunteers and conscripts who served in the German Army on the Eastern Front.

Blue Division casualties in all of the Russo-German conflict totaled 22,700 (3,934 battle deaths, 570 disease deaths, 326 missing or captured, 8,466 wounded, 7,800 sick, and 1,600 frostbitten). In action against the Blue Division, the Red Army suffered 49,300 casualties.

- Cruz Roja al Mérito Militar
- Medalla de la Campaña (Spanish Civil War, 1936-39)
- Medalla "Sufrimientos por la Patria"
- Cruz de San Hermenegildo
- Spanish award for the "Blue Division"
- German medal for the "Blue Division"

7 awards:

- Cruz Roja al Mérito Militar (spanish award)
- Sufrimiento por la Patria (spanish award), wounded in combat.
- EK2, spanish type, to replace a german EK2.
- Condecoración por su servicio en la División Azul (spanish award)
- “Erinnerungsmedaille für die Spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus” (german award)
- Medalla de la Campaña (spanish award, 1936-39 civil war).
- KVK2 with swords (german award)

Nice state of use.....

Nice medal bars those you have!!

Some of them are familiar to me, as I think they are known among the Spanish Blue Division community. In fact, I would say that some of your bars belonged to a former well known collection in Spain. Congratulations!
It is always nice to see new Blue Division collectors!
