Just to avoid confusion for future collectors, the fake bar that started this thread has the ribbons mounted in the correct manner.

Not always the regulation was followed, and i guess many times soldiers constructed their medalbars for personal taste, making them as long as possible and using all awards they ever got. Possibly only for home display or just to seem more important if they showed them in public with them. I guess like today when somebody wears a fake LV purse ,...nobody has an idea if legit, and all talks about it
I have no problem if 2 grades of kvks are mounted.

I'll take the heat for dissenting, but I'm not ready to accept that both kvk's on medal & ribbon bars is "fine".
IMO, it should remain a red flag.
It simply doesn't reflect the regulations, and although they were sometimes ignored, they generally weren't - at least not something this blatant.
Wrong medal precedence or holding onto a vanity medal was seemingly more widespread, but this double kvk just looks wrong to me.
Another member here added that the awarding of both kvk grades should be considered rare and that he had never personally seen a document grouping to support both.
I just believe something is either an anomaly or "everybody did it", but it can't be both.
Just thinking out loud, not trying to start a brawl.

I can't recall ever seeing 2 KVKII on the same medal bar before BUT I don't look for medal bars as I don't collect them and I see very few (if any) medal bars at the UK shows and fairs we've been to.
