Sorry to say that it is not a good Fire Brigade 1st Class Honor cross.

what you announced. Is it that only one manufacturer manufactured this plate? Does it have to be crooked? so that it is 100% original?
      Thanks in advance

The only maker of the Fire Cross 1st Type 1st Class was W.Deumer ... as shown by Ron, and yes, they are all vaulted.

I understand then that there was only one manufacturer of this plate ..... W.Deumer and if I do not make it ... the others are reproductions ... is that so?
I never mark your fabrications? .....
          Best regards.

Sadly it appears to be a second class that has been gold washed. Rather like the debate between toned silver Heer helmet decals and gold Kriegsmarine ones unless you have the 2 side by side it can be hard to tell BUT when you see a real gold one they are immediately obvious.

Here are 2 comparison shots I was sent to demonstrate the point (my gold-washed example is on the left in both instances)

I sent my examples back from whence they came for a refund and gave up ever finding a real 1st Class of either early or later type. In fact I've actually become quite disillusioned with the medal collecting scene and haven't bought another one since.

              Sorry, Ian.
