Single Medal Bar - please advice.

Hello everybody!

I wonder if this single medal bar fits to the Medaille für deutsche Volkspflege?

Red colour is very strong, hence my doubts.

Hi Adam,
The pictures are low definition but from what I see I don't see any problems. The ribbon is for a Deutsche Volkspflege medal.

There was some variation in colouring on most Third Reich ribbons, an example of the differences shown below. As you can see the miniature ribbon is a very dark red colour as opposed to the larger ribbon which is a lighter red.

Hi agree with Sonderkommando, very nice single mount Volkspflege medal ribbon. Here attached is a weirder colour one mounted backwards (with left ribbon flap over right) but it happened...

I agree with the mates. In my collection of medal bars, I have had around 6 or 7 volkspflege medal bars, and there are different shades of red. If you have ever had a red car, you will see how the sun "eats the color" and varies a lot over the years. No problem with that piece, it's a nice medal bar.
