I like what I see. Then again, I'm a sucker for enamel.

yes, that is a question.. why it is so. Not paid? Or just somebody decided to sell it back, where it was originally bought?

Probably not an honest auctioneer, plays on price increases.

There are likely more people than we realize who don’t pay for an item won.

It´s rare but it is not very rare.... You can find other examples.
It´s Order "For Military Merit" 5th Class / Knight's Cross.
Its ribbon (yelow and black) indicates it was delivered before March 1941.... Bulgaria enters the war on March 1, 1941.

Here, two examples of this award, delivered after March 1, 1941.... with blue light ribbon and crown of oak leaves and laurel in the cross.

                        Regards

Other example from my collection. The Crown indicates that it belonged to a hauptmann (probably)

Not common, but not rare either; many Germans earned Bulgarian decorations.

thank you for sharing your pictures. I am collecting 7 years but I did see one available for sale or just two! So IMO it is somehow rare.

Your medal bars look much more interesting but what does my bulgarian medal means..? My guy served in Bulgaria before 1941 or..?

                              Thank you!
