Blood Order Post-war Ribbon Bar - Opinions?

    Hello All,

I had this one posted in the 1957 Medals Forum, but, it was suggested I post it over here. Wondering if this is just a preposterous fantasy piece, or if there is some legitimacy to the bar. For instance, are the devices correct and real, are the ribbons in the right order, etc. I didn't have my loupe with me to get a good look of the Feldherrnhalle device. Would this be an interesting piece to have in a collection or forgetaboutit?

    Thanks,

    Eric

        Hi Eric,

Your statement cited above sums it up well. This is an absolute piece of crap with not even the slightest chance of it being legitimate. I suppose some or most of the ribbons could be original surplus stock, but the mounting plate, pin, and catch are not original. And it looks like the devices, with the possible exception of the crossed swords, are fake too.

        Best regards,
        Tom

Is this an example of the "Ohio" parts bars?

              Thank you, Tom and team!

I had not seen anything like it, and looking up the "Ohio" reference - I see there are a few more different types out there.

              Regards,

              Eric

Looks like a leftover from Charlie Snyder's emporium.

Here are some more examples of fantasy crap ribbon bars. I just saw these on an online auction.

                    Best regards,

And don't forget the coffee/tea stains; that's always a requirement.
