Medal bar with Prague Castle bar for review

    Hi Guys,

I have had this medal bar for a few years - I am pretty confident that it's good and the medals are original but I am uncertain about the Prague Castle bar. This is very tightly fixed to the bar so I have shied away from taking it off but from what I can see it looks like the prongs go the right way. The building windows are relatively weakly stamped which I understand is a good sign, but I would welcome opinions.

Many thanks for looking and for all comments,

    Best regards,

    Guy

          Hi Guy

No expert but I agree with Troy: beautiful medal bar and I really like the Prager Bar! I know they made a number of variants and, from what I can see, the detail/relief on yours looks "deeper" than on my Prager Bars

there is different folding style between EK and rest of the medals. Never seen that on period medal bars. It does not mean it did not exist, maybe I just wasnt lucky enough.

Sorry, the folding of the ribbons is nicely done and original IMO.

IMO the "folding style" is the same throughout the bar and well executed the only difference is the EK II is mounted on 25mm wide ribbon (instead of 30mm like the KVK II/S & others). Nothing unusual there as both 25 and 30mm was used on medal bars & single mounts but the difference in width is more apparent here because the EK is at the leadiing edge of the bar

                              Very attractive medal group.

Also good to see for a change that a single negative comment hasn't destroyed its credibility.
