Boxed SS 8 year Long Service Medal - Is it good?

Hi Guys,

I picked up this boxed SS 8 year LS medal some years ago. The box is damaged but I have a good feeling about this one. I think (hope) it is a good Type I medal, but would be grateful for opinions.
