SS 8 year medal opinions

There is a local auction with a few German medals and I am not around them enough to really be sure of fake or not. I posted this on another part and I figure it must have been in the wrong section. I found the pinned SS medals, and this looks good to me, but I am not versed enough. I would appreciate any help on this.

It looks like an original type 1 with some wear on it IMO. Would be good to see what others with more experience say.

Agreed, looks like an original Type I.

Thank you for the comments. I didnt take a picture, but it has the teardrop shap suspension loop.
