        Hi Pete,

        Both look good to me. Do you have a picture of the front of the three-placer with the Friedrich-August Medal? Looks like these bars were glued to some kind of display board.

              looks good to me as well. Just dont udnerstand why some collector did this to them... really stupid behaviour

                ... and cleaned the medals with some harsh silverware polish ...

                Still very nice bars despite some former abuse. Maybe you can remove the remains of polish with toothbrush.
