West wall with case review

Hi Peter

Sorry to say that the box is a modern reproduction for this award, the award itself is original but I have the very same box and they are becoming more common as the originals are lighter in colour on the outside and have a different colour to the base cloth.

These are not easy to come by as boxed versions were not for the other ranks but for leaders and high ranking dignatries who worked on the westwall design etc.

Hi Peter. The medal looks like an original along with the ribbon. In regards to the box, it doesn't have the characteristics of an original. The originals are very rare if found, and most we see are in packets. Hope this helps, Martin.
