    Unit badge?

I doubt this is Third Reich period, but I don't know.

Anyone have an idea what this badge is?

I thought possibly a unit cap badge. It is 1.5" long and .75" wide at its widest point

It definitely has some age to it, but not sure how old it is.

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum. I not sure where it would fit in

    Hi Todd

No expert but it looks like an original TR period tinnie (part of a series) to me: post it on the tinnies forum; someone will surely provide details

    Cheers

Yes, this is a WHW (Winter Help) tinnie from the "Germanic Shields" series. Issued in October 1941, # 428 in Tieste catalog.

        Thank you JC and tompress!

I can't even remember where or when I got it, but it was a long time ago. Was going through some boxes recently and stumbled upon it. I'd forgotten I even had it.

              That's really neat.
