Hi Ron,

Very nice ribbon bar with predominately red ribbons. Looks really neat. I would suspect belonging to a junior-grade commissioned officer, Leutnant or Oberleutnant. As far as I'm concerned, that fifth ribbon is the gallantry ribbon for the Romanian Order of the Star- Knight's Grade with Swords.

Ron - if Tom is right (and he usually is), it looks like the maker of the bar used another ribbon which was closest fit. You can see it’s not the same.

That particular Romanian Star ribbon variant was for wartime, non-battlefield decoration.
