Yet another Memelland opinion post!

Hi all!

Long time reader and proud to say a first time poster!

I've got the opportunity to pick up a Memelland medal. I've already got a cased slanted 'G' variant that I'm very satisfied is original, but I'm not sure on this second one.

I've done my research but I'd like some other opinions if anyone would be so happy as to help.

It is a fake based on a post war B-Memel.

Interesting. I've researched some of the variations but I've not found anything on any post-war 'B' types. The seller is a friend of mind so if it's not too much trouble, might I ask what indicates this medal as a post-war one? I'd like to let him know exactly.

There's an interesting book on these medals...
Or search on this forum "B-Memel", in the last years and you'll find other specimens of the same fake Memel.
