    RAD Medal Bar

    Hello all,

    i finally had all the money together and got myself a nice present. Ok my wife nearly killed me but it was worth it.

    A nice pure RAD medal bar. never saw a bar like that before.

            I agree, a really nice medal bar, beautifully aged appearance

            Probably been polished by the family over the years.

                Here is a medal bar with a 4Yr RAD Long Service medal.

                I picked it up many years ago before I had much knowledge about medal bars. I first thought the RAD medal had been substituted for an Army Long Service medal but fortunately I did not try to remove it.

                Now I realize this was a man with service in both the Army and the RAD.
