Sorry but it looks to be cast and the box is for a 13th March award.

        It's crap. Memel and case.

It hasn't been proven that the Memel ever came in a case.

There are a few dealers around that stick a Memel Medal in an Austrian case to try and pass it off as coming with the Memel Medal.

Thank you both for your help with this medal. Is the case real for 13 March award?

            Hi John,

Yes! The case looks like an original for the Austrian Annexation Medal.

            Best regards,

Memel is a fake of the so called "B-Memel".
Case is good, but as the others already said, is for the Austrian medal.

Since you issue COAs for $15 you must be a dealer. No? The items you posted are common as dirt and yet you need the forums help? How many years have you been doing this now living off the forums membership? About time you did your own homework don't you think?

Chet, I offered COAs because customers requested them. Only a couple dozen COAs were sold while I offered them, with over 90% of them for daggers that never appeared on this forum. You have made your point. Give it a rest. Don't you have something better to do than follow me around the forum? It's called harassment!

Hi. Certainly, the case is of the medal of the annexation of Austria. Memel's annexation medal was usually delivered in a greenish paper envelope and never in boxes. And by the way I've seen the wrap for sale, something quite rare to find.
                              Greetings.
