    Hi Ron,

The fourth ribbon is for the Saxon Order of Albert. It usually accompanies the third ribbon- Saxon Order of St. Henry.

    Kind regards
    Pierce

        Hi Ron,

        Nice ribbon bar.

Pierce and Ian are correct. Not an Ostvolk Decoration but the Saxon Albrecht Order.

        Best regards,
        Tom

Both of the bars posted above are very nice examples of original, NOT MANIPULATED (not monkeyed-with) metal-tab-type ribbon bars. No pry marks, no new scratches or gouges are evident anywhere on the reverse.

These metal-tab ribbon bars have been IMO unfairly dissed by many collectors on practically every online forum. This has to do with how readily they can be altered due to the tab-type mounting system.

It is true that some of these bars have been monkeyed with, but if collectors just perform some basic forensic inspection of the bars, the bars in their original state (un-monkeyed with) can quickly be identified.
