Fakes or not

Hello All
Been ages since I was on this forum. Ok a bit of a pre story here. I have been collecting Militaria for the last 50 years, and yes I am old, and like everyone else I have been burned on different purchases. Now I purchased a Cigarette Case with a My Honour is my Truth of something like that attached to the lid. I had various "experts" look at it and all seemed to think I had the real thing, I also had just the Death Head pin/bar which was also declared real by no less than four experts at the War and Peace show in 2007. Another thing I had was a Totenkopf belt buckle, once again it was real according to various people at the War and Peace Show. Now I am short of cash at present and decided to sell these items on a Militaria forum in Australia, all was going well right up until I received two messages, one from a person I didn't know but was very aggressive toward me, and another message from a calm nice person telling me I had fakes for sale. I was stunned to say the least, and quickly removed them from the forum. The angry fellow seems to think it was his personal duty to be nasty and is now facing Cyber charges from the Police. Sorry this is such a novel but I would like the experts on the site to tell me Fake or not. I will try to attach some photos. Also the Honour bar has been engraved with some HJ stuff and to be honest this could have happened as a lot of Officers were seconded to the HJ from different SS Units

The name Peter rings a bell, Gary I am not so sure of. There was a German seller who was supposed to be an expert. and a fellow from Holland.

Neither are German- one is a true expert - the only one I would ever trust - and the other is a rabbit

Hello & welcome to the forum,

You can post pictures on the forum by becoming an association member. The association membership costs $35. U.S. Dollars for a one year subscription. Association membership will also allow you to sell items on the militaria estand and give you access to special areas of the forum available only to association members.

If you want to become an association member, follow the steps shown in the following posts below.

To become an association member left click the 'a.member' tab, located at the upper right of the page:

Clicking the 'a. member ' tab will bring up the following page. From the drop down menu select US $35.00 and then left click the 'order' button.

The order button will bring up the following page:

Left click the 'Order using Authorize.net' button

On the Authorize.net page, type in your payment info, name, address, etc:

Lastly, at the bottom of the Authorize.net page, type in the security code and then left click the 'pay now' button. You will then be an association member and can post pictures to the forum using our server.
