Hi Tom,
Thanks for your kind comments. Both of your boards were a delight for me to see so thank you for posting them. I think it is quite interesting to see the various combinations of medals and badges on these boards. It seems to me that it is rather unusual to see 2 boards with the same combination of medals and badges.

I posted my last reply (above) just before seeing the photos of your Fritz Todt Prize and your Destroyer.......very, very nice! Your Todt retains considerably more of the original silver wash than mine. Thanks for posting them.

What puzzles me is that so many of these "Sample Boards" ended up in the hands of British Tommies who were based in N. Germany and nowhere near Deumer's factory in Luedenscheid.

I wonder why that was?
