Suspect that it may be Austrian, but for which award?

Full size ribbon for iron cross??

Well the ribbon is suppose to be the Austrian Red Cross medal or 2nd class cross but the widh of the red and white bars are revesered in size of the pre war decoration

I checked another book and it is the post war

Verdienstmedaille vom Roten Kreuz (Red Cross Medal of Merit - Bronze)

for Austira.

So it is a post war ribbon orgin in Austria as the IC is after the first ribbon.

Yes, the ribbon is of Austrian Red Cross Merit Medal, version after 1945 (2nd Republic)

Makes sense as it was acquired in a small shop in Vienna in 1999.
