SS 8 year service medal

I have an option on this medal. After reading through previous threads and comparing it to the original shown here:

I think this is a copy. My reasons are firstly, the shapes of the leaves surrounded the runes look wrong and also,the detailing looks soft and worn, specifically on the runes. I am sure there are other issues with this medal but these are the points I think might be a problem.However, should it turn out to be original, I believe I can get it for a very reasonable price and this would make me very happy.
Please let me have your opinions, I have tried my best to authenticate it from previous threads but am way out of my depth.

I'm still learning about these as well but I don't like it, The dishing of the edge appears to be very sharp and not gradual. Even if it is genuine I would wait until a nice one comes along, they are not that rare (I was offered and bought 2 within 2 weeks). The condition, even for an aged one doesn't look right. I have also posted photos of my aged one for you to compare.
There are other members out there that can give you a definate yes or no.
