The SS award is definitely not one of the more commonly encountered 'Type I' or 'Type II' versions...neither does it seem to conform to any of the common fakes that I am aware of. This leads me to believe that it could very well be one of the 4 years produced by either Otto Schickle or Petz & Lorenz. Unfortunately the period images from the catalogues of these two makers aren't exactly the clearest, but I have been comparing the posted medal as best I can and I think that it is closer to the Schickle variant. If (and this is a big 'If') it is a Schickle, then this could be very exciting as it would be the first time I have seen this type.
The mounting of the three awards seems to be pretty consistent and professionally executed.

                  That is my thought.
I checked the medal and IMO it is a good original one.
Being the medal bar an original one, it led us to believe this is really a good one. Period pictures show a medal close to this, especially for the "R".
I think a very rare specimen to find, possibly attributable to Schickle.

                  My books:

                  - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
                  - THE SS TK RING
                  - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
                  - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
                  - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

                  and more!

                    Thank you!

My thanks to Al, John, and Antonio. Your opinions are appreciated and valued. I'm sure the owner, Nikolay, is grateful too. I am always extremely leery of SS medal bars. There have only been a handful that I consider legitimate. But this one appears to me like the real deal.

                    Thanks again & best regards,
                    Tom

PS: Nikolay- Please feel free to join the discussion and revel in this nice find.

Dear friends! Many thanks to you for your opinions! In this regard, is it possible to see other images of the medal "4 years of service ss" produced by Otto Schickley? And what do you think about spange Prague Burg?

Hi Edward and welcome to the forum,
This is the best photo that I have of the Schickle 4 year, but you can see that there are some similarities such as the eyelet, the dishing, the bevelling to the Runes and the glossy finish.
I realise that it would probably be impossible to photograph the suspension ring, but can you feel it through the ribbon and tell if it is round or teardrop shaped and approximate measurement of the ring???

Hi John! Yes you are right, there is a similarity to the catalog image! But, as can be seen from the macro photo, on my medal under the glossy coating there is a small shagreen. So that the coating is not very glossy! I can not see the suspension ring, as the tape stretched very tight, and the medal is very well sewn. The maximum, as far as I could see the ring, is visible in the photo.
However, through the tape, I feel the round suspension ring. Approximately 8 or 9 millimeters in diameter.
