re the dished reverse, early wartime ones lack the rope border round the central 'shield' ..





Unlike most IIIrd Reich Awards as they had no swastika these remained unchanged on the '57er' issue except they have a narrower ribbon and the reverse dishing is different and the ribbon is narrower with the broach pin the full width of the ribbon not just the width between the outside of the stripes.
