Eastern Front Medal Question

Hello guys.

today i bought a eastern front medal from an old man who also collects items.
It all looks fine, but i wonder about the ring itself, it doesnt have any numbers on it?
perhaps the ring is fake but i wonder if the medal itself is ok?

ive taken some pictures of it, i dont know how to spot if its fake or not.

A lot of eastern Medals are without any markers on the ring.
Its a good one.
