DRL Badge Question

I recently found this log book for an officer who was issued a silver badge in 1936. I would like to find a proper badge to go along with the book. My question is would the badge have been issued with the swastika or without, and or what would be the difference between the two?

Hello,

He would have been issued the badge with the swastika. The DRL Sports Badge without the swastika was only awarded until 1934.

Right. The badge like on picture in the book. Besides, the earlier badge w/o swastika was called DRA
