opinion on anschluss medals for sale on stand

Not my main area of collecting but interested in the anschluss medals. Based on what i have previously read i believe the 1 october medal to be good but am questioning the 13 Marz. Opinions please.

The 1st October and ribbon bar look fine ... I agree with you about the 13th March, it does have a very long podium (although the photos are quite long-range).

13th March does look like a long podium fake but the pictures are not all that great to determine this for sure.

I agree. No problem with the Sudenten medal but the podium on the Anschluss looks like my Memel long podium fake

Hi guys,

I must admit that it does look like the podium goes down to the rim of the medal, but I'm not completely convinced that the medal is a "long podium" fake. I would agree that better pictures are needed to be certain. The ribbon and the brooch mount on the medal certainly look original to me.

The set was aquired here by another one of your fellow forum members about 6 months ago. Only reason for selling is because of a financial problem after being hospitalised for pleurisy.
