    Cloth DKiG on estand

Hello all, is this DKiG on estand correct? I would like to buy one of these and have been studying them. The white background material on this one doesn't look correct to me. If I am wrong, please forgive me as I don't want to cause trouble for a seller. Could very well be my ignorance.

    It's an 'original'!

It just shows 'age' with a touch of "mothing" thrown-in!

        Nice one!

I like it too. Not a bad price, either, by today's standards.

        Best regards,

I fear I was given bad info on one I bought a few weeks ago and have now sold as repro to try and recoup some money. I was told that the background in the middle of this one (identical to mine) was incorrect and a one looker fake. My sincere apologies to the seller of this one, I did not mean to throw shade on his sale. I am going to try and post pics of the one I had if I still have some, I am getting angry right now. BTW, I was given this (possibly) bad info on the other big site...wr.c. They all attacked it viciously. Looking for pics now. Again, sorry to the seller of this one.

If you have this Cross in-hand you need to put it down flat
then take your camera & sit it on something over the Cross
so that it is kept perfectly still.

If you have a "macro" setting do that & give yourself about
10" clearance from the lens & the Cross .. then take your
photo. Take more than one & one clear close-up of the edge
of the wreath where the 'date' shows .. take a photo of the
"vertical" bars that appear on the edge (in front of), the date
[at it's base] & again, at the top-side of the 'date'.

Take a couple of 'back' photos as well to show the backing
material & maybe any 'woven pattern' showing.

You MAY have an original that has been "SUN BURNED"!

Construction on this Cross 'conforms' to the original pattern,
Star burst thick thread looks good, Aluminum-wire Tips also
look good. The 'white' woven center was set in a "Horizontal"
pattern instead of the "Vertical" pattern, but, this is accepted
because some do exist this way.

The wreath looks a bit odd but, that could be wear on the
surface areas & the "date" itself, in that style has been seen
              on original pieces.

I say "SUN BURNED" because I think this piece was sitting out
somewhere in bright sunlight for quite a period of time & it has
"burned" the surface of the entire badge .. It's believable!
