Eagle for Desk-top Award?

I would sincerely appreciate any opinions as to the authenticity and usage of this heavy (2 lb. 10 oz.) metal eagle. It measures about 6 3/8" high and appears to have been on a base at some time as there are two threaded attachments broken off. The eagle is silver finished on what appears to be brass metal. Some of the silver finish is worn off. Thanks, John

Hi John,

Looks to be a textbook 'Flatback' HB bird, someone has snapped off the two mounting bolts from the base but plenty of silver plate finish left. Congratulations, nice one.
