    Brents Antiques .com reviews?

    Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with Brent's Antiques? They are selling a small lot of medals that I want. Just curious if anyone has done business with them and if so their thoughts. They do offer an inspection period and all the medals look ok.

    Thanks everyone!!

    Dave

He is a forum sponsor and from what I see his prices are high.

I've dealt with Brent on several occasions. Yes, his prices are on the high side but his honesty is unquestionable, his communications and service exemplary, and his inspection period guarantee is ironclad. So if it's a question of something you really want, you should be fine. If you're worried or unsure about the originality of the items you want to buy, ask Brent if he'll post them here on the WAF for review or hold them for you while you get some folks here to review them before purchasing. He's a good guy and should work with you.

                  Hi,

"overpriced" is a word that is hardly strong enough...
Even if you remove a "zero" from most of the prices they are still too expensive.

I would suggest you to check if other websites may have the same medals for a lower price.

                  See You

Agree with most above. He has decent items but his prices are insanely high. I honestly don't know how he ever sells anything.

Overpriced indeed...plus he's the guy who cuts up pieces for more profit (anyone still remember the plane's tail swastika cut in two to double the profit??)

I don't even look at his e-stand offerings. His prices are ridicilious and then he abuses the estand with same prices , on what is suppose to be a collector to collector platform. J

Way overpriced, I’d hold onto your money and look elsewhere even if you want the item badly. He tries to sell SA dagger scabbards for $400 on eBay and ADAC medals as DDAC on eBay through a sister accounts. Simply dispicable

And he's not the only one; you'll see the same few accounts there listing inventories weekly - using the forum as their free internet business presence. Usually preceded by their advertising in the regular forums "hey look at these great items that just came through the door, get to the e-stand quick!"
