Hi Dan, sorry to say, the silver Mothers cross looks a little suspect, the pattern underneath the enamal i believe was a previously identified as a possible fake, secondly the signiture seems to have a dot above the I (i) Hitler did not sign his signature this way. Closer pics of the reverse would be helpful, and closer pics on the swaz of the other two. All the best.

              thanks

Hi chris, yes its a case for the gold, I have two cases, as a bronze I once purchassed came with one aswell,

And thanks MRG, for the info on the silver, heres a closeup of the medal, and you are correct about the dotted I, didnt even notice it, All ive ever looked for in these medals, is the Blue inside, becuase the fakes ive seen were much different, anyhow this one is well done except for that fact.

Heres some closeups, and pics of my cases.

As far as I know, only the Gold cross was cased, the others came in the more humble packets....

                        Some bronze For comparrison,

The Bronze on the left, is one ive had for a while, the right I just recieved, I notice that the outline around the Swastika is much thicker then the left, and has slight differances on the markings on the reverse.

                        what do you all think?

Hi Dan the swaz on the silver Mk looks a little thin and the clouring of the silver is not correct a definate fake. The Bronze Mk looks good , the one on the right appears ok although i cant make out any pebbling underneath the enamelling (although that is probably down to the angle of the pics). tHE thickness of paint around the swaz does vary but i tend to look out for the thinned ones (dont ask why) Some of the MK fakes are just two colour washes of blue the darker one underneath a lighter shade, have come across a few of these on my travels some even have painted flecks underneath so be carefull. All the best

                              Thanks guys

Yes sorry, I knew the gold only came in the case, I just meant someone sold me the case with the bronze, Im going to stamp the silver with an R on the reverse, so nobody else gets burned on it, or strangle the @#%# who sold it to me.

                              Thanks for all your knowledge!!!
