ost medal!!

Hey guys. I picked up a russian front medal today at the S.O.S. When i compared it to my other ones I noticed the ribbon was wider. Where there two ribbon sizes or is one of the ribbons post-war.

I never heared of different widths in ribbons but can't tell for sure, sure hope someone else knows as I want to know aswell.

What sizes are they both ?

as far as i know there is often two dimensions, one for the medal and one width for the ribbon bar (as all ribbonbars are to be of the same width)

so the question is, which ribbon is for the medal? (the widest is my guess)
..or maybe the ribbon comes from a ´57 edition?
