I think the Ribbon is definitely not right, so that makes the packet wrong plus the ribbon. I'll leave the Medal up to the guys that know more about them than I do, but I think it looks good. But with the fakes these days it's getting harder to tell..

There are many Carl Poellath packets that have the city name spelled incorrectly. In fact, they can be found almost as frequently as the packets having the correct spelling. Manion's had hoards of these years ago and so did Detlev Niemann. The packets with the incorrect spelling are identical to the packets with the proper spelling, in every respect, other than the spelling error. Some believe that the packets with the incorrect spelling are simply a typeset/printing error that was subsequently corrected. i.e., the letter 'u' was accidentally placed upside down when the type was being set, making it a 'n' rather than a 'u'.

Do a search for Schrobenhausen vs Schrobenhansen and you will find some discussions of this issue.
