    Citations for the Knight's Cross?

    Greetings!

Just wondering if there is any way to find a citation for the award of a Knight's Cross. I'm fortunate to have in my collection the Honor Goblet Luftwaffe Ofw Hans SCHOEFBECK (Schofbeck), a Ju-52 pilot. He received his Knight's Cross in March 1943. I suspect it relates to Stalingrad. He did not receive the German Cross in Gold until Jan 1945 which is unusual and suggests to me he may have been specifically singled out for the KC. Any help or suggestions about finding this info will be great appreciated.
    Thank you! Bob

It is unusual to see KC formal award document after Jan. 43.( Schoefback obtained his KC on March 14,1943)
I only saw this Jany's one with such a late date.

Thanks Chen. Great document. I have no docs of any kind to Schoefbeck. Wish I knew where they are. Actually what I'm looking for are the details/citation of WHY it was awarded. What did he do to earn that recognition. Best regards.......Bob
