        Looks a good one.

        My books:

        - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
        - THE SS TK RING
        - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
        - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
        - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

        and more!

Well couldn't find the hallmark for Germany in my reference. Could not be Austrian as it would have the toucan or hoopoe marks.

No way to tell when this was made unfortunately,

I'd like it more if the band were thinner toward the back, but for me so far it looks very good although I don't recognize the mark with the 800 (is it a star?) there were really so many marks/makers I wonder if it is an Austrian mark? Still I'm not questioning the authenticity I just haven't seen it and wonder if anyone has can tell us where/when by whom it was made? I know these edelweiss rings are supremely rare and faked to death- everything else on this looks outstanding ESP the detail on the cartouche. Just my 2 cents!

Have to say, I don't like it. I've always believe on original edelweiss rings, there was a small number 1 stamped at the bottom close to the stem.
