Hi Vlad.

I saw this type of cross for more than 20 years ago and I don't believe it's pre-45 manufacture. It features a dull appearence and not the polished style seen on originals. The center has a dotted pattern on the obverse, also void on originals. The biggest give-away are the edges, which are "angled" to a higher degree (compare to the enclosed photo).

I agree with Peter. An original Police Long Service Cross should not have pebbling in the center area, between the wreath and eagle.
