The medal is good and the ribbon looks good as well. Mind you, ribbons are not my strong suite. I'm sure the gentleman who wrote the book will chime in and correct me.

Looks to be a good Type 2 medal. Maybe a German ribbon rather than the 'issue' Italian one ?

Jacques, the 2 ribbons on the left are original German issue ribbons I recently acquired ... UV negative and they have the correct weft threads.
