Memel Medal - B.H. Mayer

Hi all,

I am trying to complete a collection of medals produced by the maker B.H. Mayer. I recently read the Memel medal thread and was disappointed to learn that Mayer produced this medal as it means I have yet another to find (and a rare one at that!). I would like to know though if Mayer produced Memel medals are ever maker marked '26' or 'L/18' or have they been found with their original packet to ascertain the maker.

Yes, Mayer produced Memels and yes, they are extremely rare to find.
There are a couple of memebers here that own some of these beauty.

They were found with the L/18 mm on the rim (and also in LDO packet marked L/18).
