Formal Field Marshal Baton vs. Diamond to KC to famous personnel

For collectors, these two items are among the ultimate collectors' items.
However, which one of the following is more desirable:
1.Field marshal formal baton( but awarded to lesser known name FM ,ie NOT awarded to more famous FM, eg, Rommel, Model..etc)
2. Diamond to KC ( awarded to famous persons like Rudel , Model, Manstein..etc)

Hey chen,
It wouldn't matter to me what it was as such, rather that there was provenance that whatever it was, i.e. a soldbuch, award document, tunic, edged weapon was DEFINITELY attributable to the personality.
But if I must make a choice between your two alternatives, I'll go with the KC mit der brillanten!

With a baton you can be 100000% sure it belonged to the person you think it belonged to. I like to collect the items where I can be sure to whom it belonged to.

just to hold a formal baton is very special IMHO

And of course, diamonds are for the ultimate bravery, so that's a league of its own also.

As i'm a combat related collector, i would prefer the diamonds, prefered from a fighter pilot.
I wpuld noot call these the ultimate collectibles, i appreciate the average soldier medals as much as the
high ranked.
