Did Frank & Reif make Ost Medals??

If so, does anyone have an example they could show here??

OK then, this is what I really want to know. I bought this and the seller told me straight up he wondered about the MM (Frank & Reif). I thought it looked good, and now that I have it in hand, I still do. Blacklights beautifully. Paper appears to be aged naturally. Paper feels like EK packets I've handled, and the color appears right. The ink stamps look period, and the ink doesn't shine or glow. Looks good in every way.

Opinions?? Similar packets out there?? Don't be shy.

I don't have this in hand, nor have I had one yet in hand.....I again say this, the maker mark is not like anything encountered that I know of to be genuine by this maker, it's this MM that makes me highly suspcious of the packet.

We however know of dubious to thought of reproduction packets with this exact maker mark........I can't really profess any more than that.

I personally wouldn't entertain the packet or have it in my original collection of packets. I would be inclined however to get it 'tested', ink and all if in two minds.

I'm not convinced by this packet..........sorry, nothing will sway me to the contary on this, unless tested for age of paper of ink.

Until that day, I'd avoid these packets......and thats a personal note.

Did F&R make Ost medals? Surely someone knows this.
